Required tools update & clarification
Hey Multi-Touch Hackers!
We've received some questions about the required tools for Lenovo’s Multi-Touch Multi-Hack competition this week, so we wanted to shoot out a quick clarification note.
There is no specific YOGA Home SDK that you should use to integrate MUMT technology into your application. We’re sorry for the confusion on the terminology, and we’ve updated the competition site to clear this up. (Don’t worry - this is good news - keep reading.)
To add the MUMT technology to your app, you simply need to use the Windows 8 or Windows 10 SDKs and adhere to the YOGA Home Aura Shell Integration Requirements. That means you’ll be using SDKs you may already be familiar with — just in a new way! Don’t forget that there are some specific requirements depending on which type of Windows app you choose to build — you can check these out on the competition homepage.
We’ll be releasing a demo video soon to walk through how this all works, but in the meantime, you may want to check out Microsoft’s documentation on Touch Interactions for Windows 10 apps.
Happy hacking!
